Default engine light flashed but no fault codes

hi there,

a few months ago the check engine light flashed a couple of times, only now I could plug it to a laptop but there were no fault codes... is this normal?
it flashed when I was going about 100 mph on the highway. ( both times )
thanks,
carlos

the codes will be erased from the memory after so many ignition cycles with no codes recorded... can't remember the amount.. something like 25times..
as it recorded the ok no codes etc..
