When driving on boost I get to about 4000 rpm and it seems like the turbo is cutting out. Would could it be?

I just fixed a problem today with sudden power loss at high boost - I also had higher than expected boost levels.

Turned out to be a split in the small pipe that connects the boost controller to the output pipe of the turbo.

May not be your problem but I'd check all pipes closely.

Cheers mate, my boost levels are the same they do not change. I've heard that it cound be spark plugs and leads.

Well, best of luck sorting it out. I finally figured out what was happening on mine. I run an Apexi ECU which has a fuel cut built in when boost exceeds the preset value by 0.25. The split pipe was causing the boost controller to not work and the fuel cut came in when the boost hit 1.65 - 0.25 over the preset 1.4 value !. Taught me a few things
