Oil cooler position?
I am fitting a Mocul oil cooler which also involves relocating the oil filter.
I will be siting the filter as low as possible, well at least as low as the standard position.
I am looking to fit the cooler where my TMIC used to sit, but am concerned if this would adversely affect my oil pressure?
I will also be fitting a Cosworth uprated oil pump a part of a 2.5 conversion.
Thanks in advance for any advice,
Dave.

what year car i have a my03 and it sits between my hybrid fmic and the rad seems to do the trick and keeps it neat..imho only one that looks good on top is the hyperflow polished one and then u still have the pipes on show which isnt very neat

it can go in either position but the mocal as standard is a bit ugly so inbetween the icooler and rad was my preferred choice controls temps and not on show as i said the hyperflow is nice looking but 2 stonking great braided oil lines isnt everyones cup of tea

I dont think it would raise your oil pressure, dont matter where you mount it tbh
Ill be fittting my mocal oil cooler infront of my rad.
Have you thought of fitting a thermostat?
