A mate is having probs with his 94WRX has thrown crank position sensor up as the problem, wont start.

Has anyone got a pic they can post with it circled so he can identify it.

Would be a great help.

no pic but its directly under the altenator and it sits on the top of the block

Do you need to remove the alternator to access it?

no, cant remember if i used a spanner or rachet

might need to remove the belt cover from altenator.

but its a 2 min job in total
