Question Im a d**k pls help (boost problems)

Noticed my car was leeking boost, so i checked some of the boost pipes. found one had a hole in it, so i changed it. with out checking to see if this was ok i threw the old one in my garage. About an hour later i went out in the car, only
to find its now boosting 0.5 bar (it used to boost 0.8bar.). Cant find old pipe because im a d**k.

What i was hoping was if some one can tell me what my car should be boosting at.
and where can i get a replacement pipe.

The pipe is the one by the acutator, its in the shape of an L and is about 3" long
My car is a W reg 2000 turbo with the ppp ecu.
Thank for looking at my post.

If it was running at 0.8 with a hole in the pipe it will be like having a bleed valve fitted. So when you fitted hole less pipe it will put it back to standard boost.

hi mate
sorry to ask this but you DID replace the restrictor pill with the same bore one right..? Or recover the old one? Mine was missing and only made 7.5psi (bit under 0.5bar) boost. i replaced all my boost control pipework using 4mm silicone vacume hose from here: Viper Performance - High Quality Silicone Hoses Fits great and accepts the restrictor pill no worries

thanks all for the replies.
because i suffer from man syndrom (dont know, but think i do), i forgot to take the pill from the old hose, thinking that it will be ok. i'll have to buy a new hose just for that restrictor pill .i'll uprate all boost hoses in the process.

Just wondering, I replaced the pipe that has the restrictor pill in it as my car came with a manual boost valve and I wanted it back to standard. Would the pipe I bought from Subaru, I think its part number is H505442, come with the brass restrictor or should I have bought that separately?

i bought the pill separate, £5 for the pipe and £2 the pill. check the pipe, you should be able to feel if the pill is in there.
