Help!! air lock

Red face Help!! air lock

Just fitted my new ally rad and only got one side of the rad ( top hose ) hot. Any handy hints to bleed the air out much apreciated as i have been tring for ages now got to the stage where the bloody turbo started smoking

i heard the best way to fill up the coolant is to fill up via the top hose on header tank takes a while apperently stops air locks so dunno if u wanna drain it out again and try that way (u may want a funnel)

Fill it up to top, start the engine up, put the heaters on hot, keep header tank cap off
This should pump it around the engine, wait untill the blowers get hot
Keep toping up the coolant untill it doesnt drop any more, then road test keep eye on level over a few days.

tried that first and would still not go round. left it over night now and will try after work again. hopefullly most of the air has come out allready
