ok why are there so many different types of air flow meters any one know

and if i have a 96 wrx,why do i have an air flow meter from a 22B

Same as the afm from the sti v3 and 4, allows you more headroom when modifying for more power.

thanks very much m8
seen an sti version 4 earlier,asked owner to pop the bonnet low and behold same maf sensor,so at least i know what it's off now,because wrx in dealer was showing a different one,to the one i have think it may have been tinkered with in japan before it came over as it has roller bearing turbo(IHI)or are these standard??

so has any one gone down the simtec road, and have one of these lying around so i can try to rule out my problem
