Default how can i get to 380 + bhp

Evening guys.

Got an STi 03 , Remap , Zorst , Walbro K+N pannel , Apexi AVCR , im currently at 340 bhp. and its very good.

My car runs the VF35 and i have been told its runing out of puff if i want more oomphh. which i do !!

I heard someone say methonol to me ?

What can i do to get to 380 ish BHP , i think in time i would like to do a 2.5 conversion and an MDT31T however this is going to be a costy move.

Whats my best bang from buck to get from my current level to nearer 400BHP.

Regards in advance.

Turbo. I wouldn't even bother going to the MD321T. The 20G is good for 400ish and cheaper!

with an AFP 20g turbo, 3" full decat, gruppe s headers and up pipe, inner wing k&n induction cone, fpr, avcr boost control, standard top mount intercooler.
mines runs around 380 BHP / 365lb torque on v power @1.5 bar boost
with 10% methanol and some NF it achieved 405BHP / 370lb torque @ 1.7 bar

did feel quicker mapped on additives but changed back to v power after a short time as could not be fecked with puting the additives in every time.

321 H is a better turbo but comes at a bigger cost, it is down to your performance requirements and size of your wallet

this was my spec when i was at 383 bhp, uprated fuel pump, full decat 3in exhaust, heat wrapped tubular headers and up pipe,k+n typhoon,md321h turbo, hyperflow top mount intercooler, and mapped, the 321h is a very good turbo spools up quick and holds it right to the redline.

If at a later date you are wanting to go 2.5, then I would either....

1. Wait until then.
2. Get an MD321T on it now, ready for the 2.5.
That way you are only buying one turbo, and it won't be that bad as far as lag is concerned, contrary to popular opinion.

When I looked at that lot I reckoned you should be looking at nearer 500 than 400 then I checked the power graph - that's a nice curve!
My 03 STi has MD321H, 650injectors, Ported/wrapped headers/up-pipe, Hyperflow CAI, 3" catted Milltek, AVC-R and mapped at Zen. No rolling road figs. yet. It's certainly more laggy than with the VF35, but when it wakes up - it goes!
It was easy to go from PPP to 340 - just a re-map, but from then on it means hardware - and much wonga!

Before I bought my 20G, I'd already made my mind up that I didn't intend going over 400. The power vs cost just isn't worth it FOR ME!

Too many other upgrades "needed" for 400+.
