Default Fitting standard subaru alloys help

Hi guys. I'm picking up a set of 17" subaru wrx alloy wheels from the 2003-2005 range, exactly like these and I currently have wolfrace asia tec kendo wheels on but they use very thin tuning nuts and I think the standard wheels will use a different type. Can somebody help me and tell me exactly what type of nuts I will need and maybe also which Mgard locking nuts I might need too? I have a 96 Classic Turbo Wagon. Thanks in advance

How about trying to get hold of wheel nuts for a Subaru 2003 - 2005 WRX using 17" wheels?

Ebay, Google, all have answers.

Being a 'standard' wheel on the Subaru, I can't see any problems at all.

hello ther you do need a different set of nuts, u need the standard wrx ones as the ones u will have at the moment will be pointed slighty where the nut meets the allot but the wrx nuts are flat at the end for a flush fit against wrx alloys. that explanation might be a bit har to understand but u will need different ones i know cos i have just took my wrx wheels off and replaced with aftemarket ones and had to get different nuts

Thanks guys, thats what I thought, I've read about some being tapered or flat etc and was just wondering exactly what I might need as I don't have much money left and can't afford to get my purchase wrong

The ones I have on my classic, with those wheels, I think are the standard classic bolts. Look here:

i think as long as you have between 5-7 full turns mate on the thred use what you like, i'd never use less than 5 full turns.
