yes it will keep under bonnet temps down and speed up the gas flow as hotter gases are less dense so flow easier.

Thanks Lord Bass do you have any tips on doing this job.I have been told to wet the heat wrap and then spray with heat proof paint??

you want to either have them ceramic coated or wrapped. with wrapping you can do it dry or wet but wet is easiest and just have some metal wire to hand

some heat wrap can be sprayed some can't depends which you buy

i'd say from looking at the cooltek site its a none spray wrap
