Default HELP...ENGINE & TURBO CHOICE???

hi could anyone help me out here, first thing is what is the difference between a td04 turbo and td05? think i know but want to be sure i'm right.

secondly what block would i be better with for power and reliability? a brand new sti block or rebuild my wrx block with forged pistons, rods and new bearings etc.

i'm wanting to get more power from the car and want to know which set up will be best suited to my needs. basically want to know which set up will take the extra power and compare the prices between the two. a new complete block will cost 1k and to rebuild my wrx would cost about the same i'd think.

cheers adam

Alright matie.

The answer to your question is endless with soooo many options.

Best to contact a tuner thats not far from you and then discuss what your looking for and what options you've got..

sti forged engine, rebuild, closed deck block,2.5 rebuild sky is the limit or how deep your pocet is , i think the diffrence between the td05 and td04 is the 04 is paster spooling up and the but runs out of puff whereas the 05 has more grunt to put it in laymens terms .but if your going for big power a td05 20g wil be more up the the job but your lookin at atleast 1k for one.
