Sorry to ask what must seem like a simple question but I have just done the conection test and its come up with code 22 which i have found out is the knock sensor..

Would this affect the idle of the car as its not idleing right its kind of panting and dropping to 200 on the rev counter

Secondly what needs to be done to sort the code 22?
