My mate bought a scooby a few months ago and now his bottom end has gone. Its a bugeye WRX and he aint sure how much its going to cost.

I said to him I would post on here and see if I could get some advice. The car is standard and he doesnt want to change the spec so looking at rebuilding the standard bottom end......Anyone have any clues to prices??

I am looking at upgrading to a 2.5 bottom end from a standard 2.0. Would your mate be interested in buying mine. It is rock solid only done 35K out of a MY05 STI it is still fitted . If you are interested Get in comms and we can try to work something out. cheers

Does anyone know the compression Ratio of a 2001 WRX and a MY05 STI??

 

If you speak with Mark at Lateral, he will be able to tell you, and will more than likely be able to supply the correct size head gasket at a good cost
