Fitting a TD05/20g to an 06 2.5 STi
Am shortly to add a TD05/20g onto my spec D with a target of 380 hp/400 lbft to avoid opening up the engine.
I'm planning to keep existing mods (see plus profile) but will be adding an FPR.
Is the existing induction set-up (std air box but with snorkle replaced with drain pipe) going to stop me reaching the target?
Also, is the 20g going to need any part of the bellhousing or engine ground away where they touch?
Any odd things I need to do with hoses in the way or the wrong size to fit the 20g?
cheers

The feed hole in the oil banjo are different sizes between TD and VF turbos, not sure if its an issue going from VF to TD, or TD to VF - can't remember so best check this!

fitting my 20g the only thing i had to do was reroute the fuel return line as it ran very close, apart from that it drops straight in without any grinding required
and as above make sure you get the correct oil feed banjo bolt for it too

Yup, its a ported VF43, but it will be put back on the car when I've finished with it I'm afraid.
I was considering the APS 65mm intake, but at the moment the set up I have is quiet enough for Palmersports at Bedford which is a few miles away.
Any added noise may push me over the static noise test (mine is currently 97 db vs 101 db limit).
If the standardish intake set up I have isn't going to interfere significantly with my target then I'll leave it alone.
