NA 2007 Legacy hesitation
Hey,
I own a 2007 Legacy 2.0 NA
It has a problem. It hesitates between 2500rpm and 3300rpm. I datalogged, and at 2500rpm it retracts the ignition several degrees. At 3300rpm it advances it several degrees. The feeling when driving the car is a siginificant loss of power at WOT between the above mentioned rpm range.
Subaru has several times tried to upgrade the ecu, change the ecu. But nothing helps.
I normally use 95 octane gasoline. But I tried Vpower 100 octane, and the car flew like newer before.
My question is. Have ANY of you have any problems with your 2.0 NA engine (165bhp edition), that could resemble this behavior? And what was the solution. Because I don't want to use 100octane gasoline forever in a 2.0 NA. (It's another story in my 04 STI :-) )
