Stripped my block down ready for rebuild,(wrx import my93),i was expecting it to be a cdb,with it being the early model wrx, but it turns out to be a open deck ,but has the bottom feed oil squiters,. ?

 

Yes - they are a bit of a rarity but Subaru did make the early ODB ('93 - 94) with bore squirter's.
Just make sure the bore squirters are operating correctly before your re-assemble the block halfs - opening pressure is approx. 47psi.
