Am thinking of upgrading my WRX in the near future, will have a decat up pipe and sport cat downpipe fitted along with a prodrive rear box and intercooler hose. I will be fitting sti pinks but looking for about 300bhp, choice is either TD04 hybrid or 2nd hand TD05-16g. What sort of boost is required to acheive 300bhp and as the TD05 is cheaper option what is the lag like on these turbos, does anyone have any boost graphs comparing the 2 so I can see what the main differences are. I presume a TD05 will flow more air and hence more power at lower boost,

if your only looking for 300bhp your current injectors should do the job, im currently looking at doing a similar conversion but i have gone for a vf34, the td05 you will need to make sure you get the hoses with it as they are different, the td04 hybrid will do the job to about 310 bhp

oh and you will need a uprated fuel pump
