Fuel pump primes, there is clicking from the engine when i turn the key but it doesnt turn over, am i right to guess that its the starter motor playing up ?

After 7 clicks it turned over at last and started, turned it off and started again with no problem.

 

Check for any loose cables, from the battery to the body work, and the starter motor, failing that it could be the starter solenoid.
