ive just ordered a B & M shortshifter for my uk impreza, are they any good? will i benefit and are there any risks?

ive got the nardi torino, shud this go straight onto it?

i drove a friends sti and loved the short gearing, want something similar so bought a B&M have i done the right thing?

 

Hi, i fitted one to my RA,and was very pleased with the diference. The gears have much shorter movement,so quicker gear changes.No hassle to fit. The standard nardi **** i had didn't fit,as the shaft was thinner. But you may not have this issue with yours.
