iv got a 1993 wrx,i know the turbos gone cause ive got oil in the intake and smoke on boost but would i get oil and smoke out of the dumpvalve?? its got a fmic but the dumpvalves on the inlet pipe?? plus its seems like on idle it sound like its sucking to much air in to the airfilter?? and the revs r up and down!!any help would be well appreciated! cheers

 

Oil and smoke from the dump valve sounds like rings to me. The smoke is the gasses from the cylinder being pushed past the rings,into the crank case,which then vents it into your intake via the breathers,taking oil with it.
If you take off your oil filler cap,rev it and see if theres a lot of pressure there,and exhaust gasses.
I had this exact symptom,and it was rings.
