Default z4 ecu ?????

my 96 impreza has a z4 ecu that is playing up its shorting against the case
so been on ebay these arnt cheap to say the least whats so good about the z4

is plug and play runs higher boost theres one for 70 in for sale section

well i chipped mine bout a year ago if i buy a cheaper version and chip that what wud my performance be like then it is running 1 bar at the mo

the z4 has a better fuelling map then the early ecus and the prices you see on ebay are taking the **** imo (iirc about £130) i paid £75 for mine about 2 years ago.
Subaru Impreza TURBO WRX Z4 ECU on eBay, also, Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 17-Jul-08 11:46:26 BST) seriously £150 + p/p is seriously wrong imo

if yours is shorting against the case try to get it fixed.

i wondered if i coated the inside of the case wiv gaffa tape that would do the trick?

Well to stop it shorting you do need to cover the inside with something non conductive
