Default intake manifolds

so how do you identify a phase 1 a phase 1.5 and a phase 2 and 3 intakes

any one know??

Phase 1 and 1.5 inlet manifolds have the bolt holes (where it bolts to the heads) in a straight line. Phase 2 onwards are offset from each other in two pairs. THe injectors are different after phase 1.5 also.

Basically, your clues are from looking at coil(s), plug holes, inlet manifold bolt pattern and injector type. If you still have the rest of the engine the intercooler design is a dead giveaway also.
