Default Fitting Rear ARB and Drop-links

Has anyone fitted these themselves and what is involved? Do you also need a ramp or can this be done on normal ground?

Thank you for responses...

Did my drop links on the ground, quite easy, only took 15min.Not fitted an arb yet,but that looks not to bad either.Just remember to keep the car level,so theres no stress on the bar.

Thanks for the quick replies

I believe that they come with instructions, maybe someone can comment?

Also I am not sure which ones i need, I hear talk of adjustables 24mm and 22mm. Can some one explain if these are the same or whether they are separate?

Would I be right in saying that it would probably be the same thing?

I haven't looked at changing the front yet so can't be sure, but i imagine its quite straight forward.

Claarkio, where did you get yours from and you said it comes with grease in the link, is this correct?

Back is easy, done mine outside my house with one side parked on the pavement, front is a bit harder as the brackets for the ARB are difficult to get to

Cheers Claarkio for all the info you have provided..

just one more question...

I've been looking over the site at what is the the best setup and I was wondering if anyone is running with 24mm rear and stock front? as im not sure whether to get 22 or 24 as the census seems to be 22mm unless your doing track (which I dont) you would be better of with 24mm.

Can someone give me there experience on this as I dont want to add 22mm only to upgrade to 24 later. Can you not use 24mm in say a 22mm capacity?

no worries mate, 22mm is mine and its fine, i have it on the hardest setting and have std shocks and lowered springs, body roll has been reduced considerably. I guess you could always go for the 24mm and start on the softest setting?

that was my thinking!!

I like the standard shocks and springs setup on my car as is.

It's in for a remap at the end of August so would like the ride sorted before then.
