hi, my car is up for tax renewal, it is a 2003 impreza wrx sti JDM. the tax book does not state the emission value. is it likely to be over 225 (g/km)? i hope it isnt so i dont have to pay £400 per year!!

 

if it don't state emissions then you will be taxed on engine size, so only £185 per year, wish I had considered jdm now, only thing that put me off was no underseal and the fact that I knew nothing about subarus due to having fords for twenty odd years so wanted backup of a dealer. But when I change my car will look further afield.

 

Even my son only pays £185 on his 55 plate EVO IX FQ 320 even though he bought it through a Mitsubishi dealer!
