Default advice on downpipe

a friend noticed my downpipe at the weekend and made a comment that it might not be right.

think here mentioned something about the wastegate????

have a look and see what you think

That's horrible, I would expect a better design than that, however it's only going to go better with a decent one on !

same design as the standard downpipe (obviously without cat)

an open neck downpipe will help the wastegate flow better.
