hi guys im new, my partner and i have just bought a 97 reg scooby!

we have big problems lol

we need a new engine and turbo!

wat is the best set up for this car?

its a wrx would like to uprate it as much as poss and run around 300/50 bhp

we dont really know wats been done to the car in mods as in ecu etc. but it did have a vf28 turbo?!!

its jap import, silver, gold 18" oz wheels, spoiler with brake light in, 4 pot calipers

engine number on car = ej20kdw6he
reg = P471 YGK
VIN number = gc8058557

 

ECU is underneath the passenger side footwell,underneath a kickplate.

97 wrx is already running 276bhp so very little will need to be donen to run 300bhp.

What is wrong with the old engine/turbo?
