Default Fuel Pressure and FPR fitting advice

I did a search, but the function is crap now

I have a FPR I'm planning on fitting, does anyone know how easy it is to do and have any advice/guide to doing it?

Also what pressure does the reg need set at once fitted? My car is an MY1999 STI V5?

Thanks

The reg needs to be fitted to the return line (runs parrallel to the feed line near the filter) and is simple enough to do.
You will need an adaptor for the fuel rails once the oem FPR is removed.
You can get one from here Carl Davey, specialist Subaru Impreza parts supply

Im not certain about the standard pressure 3bar?? You might want to have the fueling checked once you have fitted it.
Let me know if you need any more help/info

Butty - None just now, just I fitted a Walbro 255 a while back, as a precaution and really should fit the FPR some time soon, plus once its there its a good base to work from.

Wuz - yeah that sounds good ta. Could prob figure out the fitting it (I think), but really need to know whats the story with setting it up. If its a bit of a nightmare I may just see about getting it done.

Thanks

That's STATIC pressure m8 ie, with the engine running and vacuum hose removed from the FPR

Forgetting to remove the Vacuum hose when setting pressure means that you''l be running +/- 3.5 Bar STATIC which will be well rich!
