shouldn't be using that much mate. My old mr2 used about the same and it was down to a dodgy gasket. My current STI has done 8000k miles without needing any oil.
My 03STi doesn't use a drop at 50k including track days. Is this a new age STi or a classic, cars will vary and your usage doesn't sound too bad to me.
