Default Trouble Boosting??

I have 95 impreza turbo uk, I have noticed when i am driving and accelerate hard i can feel it pulling, but when i get to about 4000 revs it seems to go flat (stops pulling),
Anyone had simular problem? and know what it could be? Would be grateful for any info.

Does it stop pulling but revs still climb, then starts pulling again around 5000rpm ?

limp mode ?

have you check the fault codes with the test connectors under dash steering column connected
checked for any boost leaks or loose or split hoses
checked the maf is working correctly
