Default turbo

i am fitting a md321h to my classic, i was wondering if i could get away with getting a couple of 90 degree silicon bends to take a similar to standard route as apposed to have the inlet raised a 75mm pipe running under the inlet(front entry systle). will this effect the potential of the turbo? i am only looking for 380-390

cheers dean

the engine is forged with all nessary supporting mod. what do you think about using 90 degree bends to avoid having to raise the manifold? will it work?

if you mean the turbo is front entry then yes i think it is but the 3" inlet pipe will not fit under my inlet manifold without raising it which im trying to avoid, by using 90 degree silicon bends to effectivley turn it back into a top entry. what do you think?

i think i heard something about them deforming (inlet pipe when silicon), not relay up on the md321 and fitting it, looking at going slightly larger myself lol.

best bet give Scooby Clinic | The UK's Largest Independent Subaru Specialists | 01246 590 807 - Chesterfield S42 6QX a call tomorrow, sure they can help out with advice and might evenhave a fix that suits your application.

anyone one else have a view on using a pair of 90 degree bend on a md321h to avoid going front entry and raising the inlet manifold.
