i recently had my engine out as i was changing it i noticed my turbo was not spinning as free as it should so i oiled it up and it was spinning ok but when i put every thing back together my car was not boosting proper thye engine i replaced it with was running at 2 bar and has a bigger up pipe would this cos the turbo not to boost propper as it has a bigger up pipe and im only running the engine stanard for now im in iraq just now so im just looking for a few ideas so when i get home i can get straight to work

 

How would you describe not boosting proper? When does the car start boosting, what's the max boost you hit and at what RPM do you get it?

A turbo that's not been used for a while may not turn freely but will be ok once it's been in use for a few minutes at most.

 

im not sure i think it was starting to boost about 3 3 and a half and it was not as torqy as before
