High pitched squeal from engine bay area
After a bit of a dianosis if anyone can help?
Not on a Scoob but my Evo
Once the engine is turned over I'm getting a very high pitched squeal coming from the engine area.
It only happens when stationary or not under load, as when moving it only re appears when the clutch is depressed for a gear change.
Obviously this points me in the gearbox direction, it has, not many miles ago had a new clutch and thrust bearing, could it be caused by tightening the clutch too much?
Link to vid so you can hear it for yourselves: http://james482.vox.com/library/vide...c38d00003.html
Obviously want a little advice before I go and take the gearbox off for a poke around.

grease will not do anything, is it a cheap clutch kit ? uprated etc ? best off contacting the supplier or if you did not fit it yourself contact the garage that fitted it mate
