Hello

i have recently bought a universal turbo timer from halfords for my 96 wrx but which wire do they wire into on the ignition, the destructions say that the wires on the turbo timer are

red= 12v+
yellow=1G key on @ 12v
blue=ACC@12v
black= ground earth
brown= handbrake

I have had the steering wheel cowling of an on the ignition barrel i have got

black with blue stripe
black with white stripe
all black - Earth

Which wires go to which.

Thanks

As above m8 use a meter at the ignition switch plug you can solder into the wires there no probs,just done an apexi auto one for someone just tap into the handbrake switch wire thats for safety measures,i have known them be fitted to brake/clutch or throttle pedal switches too.
