Fitted a decat up pipe at the weekend to go with my already decat down pipe. I was lead to believe that the engine light would come on, but after about 100 miles or so it still hasn't illuminated. Is this correct?
Waiting for it to be remapped at the moment. only ecu mod is ppp.

it'll take a few weeks to come on mine took 3 weeks after it was reset b4 i bought the car its on again now

 

If you cane it everywhere it may never come on.....

It's at a steady speed i.e. motorway, where the ecu tries to use the lambda to run for maximum economy that it "sees" the wrong values and spits a CEL.
