Default spark plug gap ?

can somebody tell me the correct gap for NGK PFR 7B , scoobyparts say please gap to 0.8 other folk say 0.7 anybody know ? thanks in advance

If you are running higher boost levels, I guess you must be as this is the cooler plug, then the gap you need is definitely 0.65. This was the recommended gap by Bob Rawle and he should know.

I echo Skooby53's thoughts and would like to add...

If you have an old Classic (like my 1993 WRX) JGM Simon advised (me) on 0.6mm to compensate for any possible shortcomings with the coil packs. I too am having my PFR6's replaced with the 7's soon, and intend to have them gapped to 0.6 - 0.65mm, in readiness for the mapping of a APFC by JGM Simon.

If you know for sure your packs are sparking perfectly, then you can probably get away with 0.7mm.

0.65 is ideal, but 0.7 would also bo ok..
