I have a MY99 turbo 2000 and I've been told that the first engine mods I should do is get an STi filter panel and fuel pump.
Has anyone here tried this and will I need to do anything else

 

first thing you should do is
sit down

work out how much power you want and how much you want to spend.

as dazza says, whats your budget, that will decided how far you go, unless you deided that its a waste of time, we can rattle of thousands and thousands of pounds worth of tuning bits to find you only have £500 to spend

A fuel pump won't make any difference to coupled with an STI panel filter.
Your best first mods would be exhaust related. Get rid of at least one of the cats.

I also have a turbo MY00 for 6 months. I've already bought a H&S back box, K&N panel filter, dawes and fuel cut defender.
My goal is to reach the 300 hp.
What next upgrades should I do?
