Question IM LEAKING EVERYWHERE!

I am fresh to owning my first scoob....so need help!! Does anyone have a cooling diagram for a wrx 95 import? I got a random hose loose thats not connected to anything @ the bottom of the coolant bottle.... maybe you know where it goes??

When you say coolant bottle do you meen the one on the right hand side of the engine bay behind the headlight as you look at the front of the car?

yeah thats the one. it has a thicker hose to the right hand bottom of the bottle that goes through to the right hand wing, and the loose hose is on the left... appreciate the help!!

My mrs Ra has a hose leading to nowhere on her bottle too, i think this is for over flow etc

but when shes running, coolant just flows out...so im not sure...ive got it capped and clipped @ the mo and just gets hot at a standstill...

thats what im thinking.... someone else has said its deffo an overflow on the expansion...ta!!

My expansion bottle has a hole in the top which the overflow pipe runs into. It feeds right through the bottle to about half way down.

RSLEG.... where does the overflow come from? does it feed from the bottom & circulate?

IIRC it comes from the header tank to the left side of intake manifold.(where the metal cap marked HOT is)
It runs along the top of rad and into the cap on plastic bottle.
It's a thin pipe about 1/4" thick. As far as i can see it recirculates when the header tank overflows.

I hope this is relevant to you as i own a legacy!!
