Default Apexi AVC-R diy set up?

I know it should be done professionally, on a rolling road etc etc, but is it possible to set these things up yourself with a fair degree of success?

I realise there are dangers to anything diy, but I am fairly proficient at technical things.

So, any links to some good website pages/instructions from people that have done it?

Set mine up ok , little trial and error to start but use it as a boost gauge first with your oem still piped up to see max boost it was making.
Find the approx duty cycle and set that and same boost it was making on oem setup then follow the instructions for it to auto calibrate the duty.
Then setup the in gear boost and start fine tuning. When finished way better then standard control. Have fun

Sounds like what I'm after. I know they are capable of giving a much better drive (maybe not ultimately more power), and given my tame but common mods, I'm hoping this will give some improvement.

Keep the info coming
