MAF sensor?

Default MAF sensor?

Is there any signs/symptoms of the MAF sensor on its way out?
Would be gratefull for any info.

Had to change mine when it went for a remap- the only signs I had were a small increase in fuel consumption and a sooty exhaust.
Oddly enough, no problems on boost or with idle though.

sounds like thats what prob is on mine, my 98 terzo anybody around the coventry area got a spare one i can try on mine to see if it fixes problem b4 i go out and buy one, skint atm but car does need fixing but could do without buying one to find out if aint that.
