fitted some pro sport guages 3 months ago every was ok untill last week when oil pressure guage stopped working. got a new sender unit worked fine for twenty minutes stopped the car at a petrol station turned engine back on oil pressure alarms going off showing only 10 psi for 20secs then started working ok again.been doing this all day on a off sometimes turn on engine pressures straight up other times run engine and only 10 psi untill about 3000rpm.have i been unlucky and got another duff sender? could there be a problem thats wreking sender units? or is it possible that my oil pump is intermitantly playing up? the standard oil pressure light goes out as soon as engine fires up but does anybody know at what psi the standard light triggers?any advice or ideas appreciated
