Default 2.2 engine

i am currently thinking of building a new engine and was thinking of using a 2.2, would it be best to use a stroked 2.0 or try and find a 2.2?
the reason i ask is i want to build a new engine that will be fine for big power but still be reliable, any suggestions?

how about a closed deck 2.0 bored, linered and stroked? would that be as strong as a stroked 2.2?

Edit: reason being that a CDB 2.0 must be a lot easier and cheaper to find, right?

try all the jap imports breakers.....they always have some in stock in one form or another , otherwise it as Henrik said ....a cdb 2.0

you actually just missed one in the for sale section afew months back

ps.... a builts stroked cdb 2.2 will handle huge bhp as well , but it all depends how huge is your wallets as to what amounts of bhp the engine will take
for me personally 450 bhp is more than enough for the road!!!
