Default '02 WRX boost readings

I finally got my boost gauge plumbed up correctly today and it read just over 1 bar going up to maximum of 1.1bar on occation. Now it is 'only' an autometer guage but they're not bad for a machincal one.

Question is what is the std max boost for my car - with an itg panel filter and prodrive back box I was getting a value of 0.8 on a rolling road in March (their guage).

I now have a simota panel filter, same back box but now a 2nd cat de-cat pipe and no resonator.

So has the boost level gone up or is my meter over reading?

A vacuum level at idle would help too, I'm showing about -0.9 bar.

when my MY02 WRX was standard it ran between 0.8 and 0.9 bar on the Defis with TD04 turbo.

Hum, that would tie in with the March reading, the question is would removing that last cat allow the boost to go up?
