ok guys ive just taken engine out me wrx sti version 3 import,im loking for a new engine as my big ends have gone and am not sure if i have to go for same engine,also were is the best place to get one from been looking on ebay for second hand one but may consider recon if i can get one at right price cheapest recon ive found is 1600 pound

Personally I wouldn't go with a second hand engine, try API API Engines, had mine rebuilt 12 months ago, worth every penny.

 

can i ask how much you paid for your rebuild
