Cool PSI BOOST LEVEL

At what level should a 1996 WRX be boosting to on average? Has had td05 turbo fitted in case this makes much difference. Any response would be great

WRX (1995/96) ECU Z4 - 12.71psi, dropping to 11.78psi @ 6600rpm. Fuel-cut 15.65psi.

td05 16g is the standard turbo for your year car.

If it's a jap import (you did say WRX) then td05 16g is the standard turbo.

Have a look at the front of the turbo housing (you may have to remove a few bits) and it should have some ID marks on it (td05H iirc)

SUL is the minimum you should use (97ron +) especailly if you want to do a mile sprint from still but even on everyday use 97+ as lots of petrol companies do sell SUL (my preferences are Vpower and Tescos who do 97 and 99ron).
BP ultimate though doesn't seem to advised from a large portion of the Scooby community.

As long as it's SUL i can't see any problem (i've never had a problem with Tescos fuel)
