Stiffy creaking clutch?!
Hi
not long had me scoob, and starting to notice things a bit more after a few days of driving it now.
Me clutch pedal feels pretty stiff compared to cars I've driven in the past - is this normal? It's also making a bit of a creaking (not squeaking) noise when moving it.
Any thoughts folks?
Thanks

Clutch pedal hinge may need lubing. There is an article somewhere about lubing the clutch master cylinder actuator too, could well be that.
As for feeling stiff (heavier?), then check you have the assist spring fitted. You can see it by looking under the dash where the top of the clutch pedal meets the bulkhead.

Mine was creaking like you describe and it was the slave cylinder pin to clutch lever needed greasing. You can just reach it with some grease on your finger under the intercooler. This cured mine but next week the whole clutch disintegrated at Elvington though I hope this was unrelated.
