Default What coolant temp does cooling fan cut in?

Hi,

Can anyone out there tell me what coolant temperature the cooling fans on a standard P1 cut in?

On my P1 I've got both fans running all the time once the engine is warmed up. I've got a SimTek ECU on the car and I'm wondering if the fan settings on the ECU are OK.

The car does not use any water, it is topped up, no air lock, the thermostat functions normally, the rad isn't blocked etc...

Just want to make sure the the fans are not coming in too early.

Thanks

Not sure if this applies to your P1, but iirc on my 05 wrx it's 90c, going off once it drops below something like 86c..

I would imagine they're all the same.

OK, thanks for that.

What temperature should the coolant run at then say on a steady 80mph cruise?
