Default annoying squeek

hi

i have developed a squeek on the front
it sounds like the suspension squeeking as it does it when driving over normal bumps in the road

but the thing is .... it squeeks when i start the car and when i turn it off?

its worse when cold

anyone had this before?

maybee engine mounts or something?

i tried bouncing on front end but did not do it so i cant locate the sound

many thanks

have a check of the exhaust make sure the brackets at the front are not cracked, also as you already mentioned engine mounts?

try grabbing engine and see if you can rock from side to side and recreate the noise

i dont mean rubbers as you say i doubt they would cause a loud noise,i mean the metal brackets that are welded to the downpipe and then bolted to the block.
