Dont think there is a way to make it louder. Just by another one. My Turbosmart Supersonic is quite loud

Attach a microphone and mount some speakers on the roof, you could also mix in hardcore, Bass Hunter etc so people can here your 'bad' tunes periodically overlayed with an amplified woosh noise. Start selling ice cream and spliffs from the back seat and you could be 'an ice cream van for the chav generation' a true idle class hero.

You will be the toast of the town.

Hi

Is your dump valve a VTA or recirc and does it affect your fuel consumption?
If it's a recirc, does it still make the same noise?

Its a VTA. Not really noticed a drop in fuel consumption.

Recirculating BOV's(dump valves) dont make the same noise as vent to atmosphere valves. They are almost silent.
You can buy one that you can turn the volume up and down on,depending on where you are.
FYI i have just gone back to a recirculating after a few years of running a Bailey BOV.My car seemed to run like a B.O.S**TE with it on-hesitant etc ,despite having it remapped.Drives as it should now.
Whatever youre after, try Powersupply, they've got a good selection at a good price

Depending on which HKS SSQV valve you have, you can buy replacement valves that change the noise level of the dump-valve as well as the type of sound it makes.

Do a google search for SSQV bits or contact Demon Tweaks who have the kit

Yes the gold fin is loud and the purple fin is quiet. These are inserted in the SSQV body.
