Default TD05 conversion

how easy and cost involved in converting a side entry to front entry TD05 turbo ?

like i know you only need a 90° Silicone Coupler for use in 93-96 Cars

you can hacksaw the end off, cut off the corner and impr the straight section back on

costs nowt to chop the inlet off, costs nowt to chop the corner off

might cost a beer or two to get a mate to reweld the straight section back on

mine welded it back for nowt

As above mate depends on what u have access to, our fitter did mine at work for bugger all, the cutting and grinding anyway. I had to have the re-joining done at the cost of £30. Obviously remove the compressor housing before you start the hammering and banging and store the turbo somewhere clean and safe. Mine went on fine although i had to use a heat gun to stretch the inlet/outlet and ancillaries as they were for the TD04L and obviously a bit more dinky. I havent had mine re mapped yet so im going careful but its still reading ok up to about 10 psi
