Question crank seal question

has any one got a pic of the fly wheel end of the crank, as i have got a massive leak somewhere behind the flywheel, and the only thing that i can think it is, is the crank seal, i am wondering if there is a groove that the seal fits in on the crank and i havent pushed it on far enough, if its not the seal what could it be, thanks for any help, phil.

IIRC there is no groove on the crank that the seal sits on, only on the block halves. I think the seal sits fairly flush with the face that the flywheel bolts on.

Also, on the block halves there is a service hole and a plastic cover with 5 or 6 screws. Oil could leak from these too.
